Appointment of a new Principal for Eastcote Primary Academy

Dear parents and carers

 

 

In my last letter I explained that Mrs Greene will be stepping down from her role as Principal at the end of August in order to return to her previous position of Reception Teacher and Subject Leader. In agreeing to this change at Mrs Greene’s request, we are simply delighted that she will continue to work at Eastcote where her skills and commitment are so highly valued. When I wrote to you last I also promised to update you once a new appointment had been made.

 

At the end of last term we completed a selection process following a national recruitment search for the position of Principal at Eastcote from 1st September. I am pleased to say that we have made a very strong appointment after a unanimous decision by all those taking part in the process. The successful candidate is Mrs Rebecca England who is a very experienced primary senior leader who has worked for all of her career to date in the London Boroughs of Greenwich and Bromley.

 

Mrs England will enjoy a detailed transition programme in the summer term where she will be working closely with Mrs Greene to ensure she is fully ready to take over in September. Mrs England also looks forward to writing to you in due course to introduce herself and set out her plans for the year ahead.
