All Trust academies enjoy high-quality support via a range of educational and ‘back-office’ services. These include human resources, finance, IT, estates management and procurement. This support is highly responsive and tailored to the needs of individual academies, allowing the Trust to access best value and more efficient ways of supporting academies to deliver these services to the standard they demand.
In addition, the Trust has developed a range of educational support services for its academies. This includes the academy improvement team of high-quality, senior experts in a range of subject areas who support and challenge academies on a weekly basis. The team currently includes Directors of Improvement in the following areas:
- Modern foreign languages;
- Primary literacy;
- Primary numeracy.
The Trust also recognises the importance of a range of other educational services to support academies to meet the needs of their young people. That is why we have also developed our own inclusive services team, who work across the Trust. This team includes:
- Business Partnerships Manager;
- Educational Psychologists;
- Careers Advisors;
- Attendance Welfare Officers.
The Trust provides an effective annual peer-review programme for its academies. This puts together trained external inspectors with senior academy staff to provide excellent training for our leaders.
