“We were delighted to welcome our new Year 12 students to Arden Sixth Form today. The vast majority of eligible students from the previous Year 11 have chosen to continue their studies with us, making a smooth transition from Year 11 to Year 12. This is the largest year 12 cohort in our recent history with 165 students enrolled on our level 3 courses.
The students were dressed immaculately and the positive energy was palpable as we welcomed a group of students who were clearly very excited at the prospect of starting their post 16 studies. Students even seemed to enjoy the prospect of significantly increasing their step count as they were escorted around the one-way system in our COVID-19 friendly site.
It was fabulous to see the students participating in our carefully planned induction sessions which include developing the Sixth Form mind set, study skills and a quiz.
