Post-16 Results Day 2024

Students across fifteen secondary schools in Leigh Academies Trust received their Post-16 results today. You can read about their achievements in the articles that follow.

This year students sat assessments in A Levels, IB Diplomas, applied general and technical qualifications and T-Levels. Students achieved an average of 33 points in academic programmes, equivalent to a C+ grade and 29 points in applied courses, equivalent to a Merit+. These are the best post-16 results in the history of Leigh Academies Trust.

This year, 37 students received T-Levels in engineering and computing at The Leigh UTC. Their achievements were phenomenal. They achieved 42 points on average, equivalent to a Distinction*-. Many more Post-16 centres in Leigh Academies Trust will see students sitting T-Levels in 2025.

We now wish our students well as they embark on their next steps which include a wide range of university courses and apprenticeships. We also thank all of our hard-working and committed staff for their tireless efforts and expertise and the invaluable support we receive from parents.
