Today the Trust celebrated its first cohort of talented leaders to successfully complete our ‘Aspiring Principal Programme.’ The programme, which is bespoke to Leigh Academies Trust, is designed to enhance the professional development of Vice Principals as they prepare for the next steps in their career and fulfil their ambitions to lead their own academy in the near future. As part of our celebration event, in which leaders achievements were recognised by the Trust’s CEO Simon Beamish, participants reflected on the knowledge, skills and experiences that they have developed through taking part in the programme. It was wonderful to hear the positive gains they have made as a result of the opportunities they have been provided. This programme is another example of how the Trust is committed to its excellence charter pledge to prioritise staff retention and well being through the high quality professional development opportunities we provide. We can’t wait to commence with our second cohort!
