An unused workshop at a school is set for a £2.5 million revamp to create classrooms for children with autism and complex needs. Snowfields, an offshoot of the Leigh Academies Trust, has lodged its plans to transform the two-storey block at its Minster site on Sheppey.
If approved by Swale council, the plans will allow the school to welcome 60 new students with autism and complex needs who have an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP).
