First Day for Founding Students at Leigh Academy Rainham

On September 1st Leigh Academy Rainham welcomed their first 240 students through their doors as founding students started their journey through secondary school.

Students proudly wore their smart new uniforms, indicating their college colours, and lined up perfectly to greet their form tutors in person for the first time. Students had an exceptional start, greeting staff politely and spending the day with their form tutors to review the Academy expectations, rules and routines. They had a tour of the building, completed their first round of COVID tests and learnt how to navigate their maps and timetables.

They all left with beaming smiles at the end of the day and told staff their first day had been a fantastic experience!
