The first Leigh UTC business breakfast of the new academic year took place on Friday 18th October.

LAT COO, Neil Willis introduced the new CEO of LAT Apprenticeships, Olivia Couzins, to explain the developments within the Trust on apprenticeship provision.

Steve Leahey, Principal of The Leigh UTC further explained to delegates about the forthcoming T-Levels and how The Leigh UTC will be one of very few organisations initially offering these qualifications.

Guests were again highly impressed by student EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) presentations by Daniel and Jason; Daniel presented his dissertation on nationalism and populism whilst Jason ably presented on his battery pack artifact.
