Mascalls teacher, James Burton, ran the London Marathon with his father and sister. James finished in 4 hours 33 minutes.  James’ godson was diagnosed with Leukemia when he was just 4 years old. Running the Brighton and London marathons, James and his family raised a fantastic £13,000.

Janet Tidmus from Milestone Academy had always wanted to run the London Marathon, ever since she watched the very first one in Greenwich 38 years ago. After applying for 11 consecutive years for a ballot place, Janet was offered a charity place by Phabkids and she started training right away.  Janet completed the marathon in just under 6 hours and made over £2500 for the charity.
