Year 13 student Salha Abdulgialil at Longfield Academy, got published in the 7-8 edition of The Scholar after submitting an essay originally written as part of a Uni Pathways course through The Brilliant Club.
In the essay, Salha argued and explained why she would not go to space if she was given the opportunity, but would rather help engineers and researchers on the ground make space travel safer for others. Salha’s work was rated as excellent by the review panel and is one of the first Uni Pathways articles to be published in The Scholar. The essay was one of only 44 essays selected from hundreds of submissions from all over UK for the academic year of 2016-2017.
The journal is free to download from http://www.thebrilliantclub.org/news-and-views/the-scholar/ for anyone that would like to read the excellent essay.
