For the second, consecutive year, 25 Modern Foreign Language teachers from around Leigh Academies Trust took part in training for the new GCSE and A level specifications in French and Spanish on Wednesday, 22nd November at Stationers’ Crown Woods Academy.
The training was delivered by one of AQA’s most experienced trainers and former Principal Examiner who has been involved in the inception of the new specifications.
Staff were able to ask questions at any time during the session and any air concerns. We were also lucky enough to receive some useful resources and easy to use ideas for delivery of the new exam with our students. As well as being very cost effective, this type of training allows colleagues from around the Trust to work together and share best practice and resources.
