The Leigh UTC Business Breakfast

Friday 17th May saw another successful and inspiring Business Breakfast. Key business partners, trainers, recruiters and KATO/ASK Apprentices managers all attended.

Year 12 and 13 students attended to network with industry professionals as they would do in real life Business environment.

Clive Barker Vice Chair of The Leigh UTC Board of Governors presided, introducing Dominic O’Donnell who presented an informative update about The Lower Thames Crossing Project.

Mr Leahey, Principal, outlined the latest T Level news, and how the apprenticeship programme is evolving. Cameron who is currently working with SEM and undertaking his apprenticeship qualifications with the academy talked through his journey at the UTC and how the incredible opportunities have aided his career and personal development.

Cameron has been approached by Ask Apprentices to speak to other schools and be trained as a National Ambassador for Apprentices. Well Done Cameron! and Well Done UTC!
