Dartford Primary Academy wins a top prize with Busters Book Club

Dartford Primary Academy were extremely proud to win a top prize in a recent competition with Busters book club.
All pupils at DPA really enjoy taking part in busters book club and it is really helping to develop their love for reading and their literacy skills. In celebration assembly every week class winners for Busters book club are announced and it is lovely to see the excitement as they find out who has read the most that week! As you can imagine, when we found out one of DPA’s classes had won a top prize the pupils were over the moon.

The prize involved a visit from a company called KD Theatre and they performed a workshop with the winning class as well as an assembly to all of KS2.

Karen Major, Executive Principal said “I would thoroughly recommend Busters book club to any of our Primary Academies to help develop their love for reading.”
