The University of Leicester speak to the Year 5 and 6 students at Molehill Primary Academy about life at University

On 16 November 2017, the children of Years 5 and 6 at Molehill Primary Academy were treated to a visit from Sarah Addison of Leicester University.  Sarah spoke knowledgeably about university, its impact upon children and the wide choice of courses open to the public.  The children were particularly interested in veterinary science, law and engineering.

The session was interesting, fast-paced and provided many of the children with food for thought regarding their future and how to start planning for it at Junior School. Sarah was also kind enough to provide several copies of the Leicester University prospectus, which have become hot property during our reading sessions.

They all took a great deal from the day and it was a huge success.
